CONATEL published Administrative Provision No. 217 in Official Gazette No. 43,208 (September 8, 2025), which establishes that all imported telecommunications equipment and devices must be approved and certified by CONATEL before their importation, distribution, marketing or use in Venezuela.
How long is the certificate valid for?
Certificates issued from November 20, 2025, are valid for one year from the date of issue.
